The Ministry of Religious Affairs has confirmed that over 114,500 applications have been received so far under the Government Hajj Scheme 2026. With only 3,500 seats remaining, the quota is expected to close very soon.
Spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt said that nominated banks will keep accepting applications until the quota is filled. He advised intending pilgrims to submit their forms immediately to avoid missing out.

Authorities clarified that once the seats are exhausted, the process will be shut down instantly. No further applications will be entertained.
Officials highlighted that the strong response reflects the deep passion of Pakistanis for performing Hajj. This year’s interest is among the highest ever recorded for the scheme.
The hajj scheme 2026 offers two options: a long package of 38–42 days and a short package of 20–25 days. Costs range between Rs. 1.15 million and Rs. 1.25 million.
Applicants are required to deposit Rs. 500,000–550,000 initially, while the remaining amount will be payable from November 1 onward.
With limited seats left, the ministry is urging people to act quickly. Officials assured that banks are processing applications smoothly to ensure convenience for all applicants.
